Cello Matteo Goffriller ca.1710

Goffriller has higher reputation for his cellos than his violins. One of his cellos was known to the world on the music history since Casals loved and used it.
This cello is another one, and impeccable for its sound quality, tones and sound volume. Its sound volume particularly helps a soloist outstand in front of an orchestra with its power reaching every corner of a big hall.
The current scroll is an only part that is not original, but it has a good balance with the body. The whole condition is very good. The large bold ‘f’ holes give a strong impression as if to make people step back.
This piece of artwork by Goffriller has been played and recorded by worldwide renowned soloists for these twenty years.
