Notice on Business Hour Change

With the Emergency Declaration against the spread of COVID-19 lifted, at our Tokyo Head Shop, we have shorten our business hours to 11:00-19:00 and set up regular holidays on Tuesdays and national holidays.

To keep good ventilation, to avoid crowdedness and to keep safe distance, we will accept customers by appointment only. Please make sure to make an appointment before visiting us.

Countermeasures against the new coronavirus

To keep our customers and our staff safe, Nippon Violin will operate its business with extreme carefulness against the new coronavirus.

・Cleaning and ventilation of the shop
We will not only keep our shop clean and keep good ventilation, but also disinfect every touchable spot including doorknobs, tables and chairs every time a visitor leaves our shop.

・Supervision over staff conditions
Our staff will necessarily wear a mask and observe regulations of hand-washing, gargling, disinfection, etc.
We will reduce the number of the staffers to keep safe distance between each other while working.
We will be careful about our health conditions, and any of us will not come to the shop when there is anything wrong with his/her health.

・Appointment
To avoid crowdedness of customers, please make an appointment to visit us.
When we cannot help but accept double appointments for the same time, we will accept each customer in a separate space.

・Disinfectant solution
We will provide our customers with disinfectant solution.

・Refrainment from offering drinks
To keep safety and cleanness, we will refrain from offering drinks to customers for the time being.
However, please let us know when you would like such a service.

<Requests to customers>
If you are any of the followings, please place the highest priority on your health and reconsider your appointment before visiting us.
・Have been abroad within these two weeks.
・Have a fever or any symptom in the respiratory organs.
・Have had a contact with such a person like above.
・Be in poor health.

We will continually update ourselves with information on the new coronavirus and practice necessary countermeasures.

Notice on reopening on May 7th (Thu)

Under the extended State of Emergency declared by the Japanese government and as part of countermeasures to prevent the COVID-19, we have decided to open our Tokyo Head Shop 11:00 – 18:00 and close on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the time being.

To keep good ventilation, to avoid crowdedness and to keep safe distance, we will accept customers by appointment only. As to an appointment for Saturday and Sunday, please make it by Friday, as an appointment for the same day on the weekend may not be affordable.

【Important Notice】on Temporary Closing

Under the Declaration of State of Emergency of April 7th by the Japanese government and the subsequent request by Tokyo Metropolitan Government to close businesses, as part of countermeasures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, to put the priority on sound health and safety of customers and our staff, we have decided to close our Tokyo Head Shop temporarily from April 16th (Thu) to May 6th (Wed).
We are scheduled to reopen on May 7th (Thu).
We sincerely apologize to every customer of ours for potential inconveniences, though we deeply feel grateful for continuous patronage.
We hope we will have your understanding for our decision.
