Cello: Marino Capicchioni 1960
Capicchioni was an Italian violin maker. He moved to France at the age of 19 to engage himself in violin making. In and after 1932, he participated in many exhibitions and competitions all over Italy to be recognized and applauded for his talent in no time. His artwork received gold medals in Cremona, Rome, Padva and Forli. Its graceful structure and excellent sounds made him a popular maker. His violins have been possessed and loved by renowned musicians, including Menuhin and Oistrakh and his cello by Rostropovich. This cello was made in his very golden period. Its sound is gorgeous and fells body. It can fill a large hall with high sound density. On the other hand, it responds quickly to a performer's operation, with deep shadow-feeling. It is a very masterpiece. This precious Italian modern cello will surely deserve the best in an important situation like a competition or a concert.

If your residence is far from our shop and you would like to use courier services, the cost of the courier of “to and from” is on your accountability, and additionally the arrangement fee of 3,000 yen should be paid at the time of the contract making. We hope we will have your good understanding.
Accessories
We lend you a soft case with a rental instrument if you need. A hard case is not an accessory.
In the standard plan only, a cello bow is included in the rental set.
We also offer bow rental alone for 6,600 yen/month.
